Dean leads in contributions from HMO and Pharmaceuticals
$34,000 from health maintenance organizations, second to Dean; and $18,500 from pharmaceutical companies, third behind Dean and Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman (Conn.).

2. Funny ! Kerry has taken more than 2 X the special interest money
Than his closest dem rival.

"For his presidential race, Kerry has raised more than $225,000 from lobbyists, better than twice as much as his nearest Democratic rival. Like President Bush, Kerry has also turned to a number of corporate officials and lobbyists to "bundle" contributions from smaller donors, often in sums of $50,000 or more, records provided by his campaign show. "

3. It's awful that Kerry takes money from labor and environmental lobbyists
Now they're gonna expect him to protect workers and the environment!

5. Why is it that when they're Kerry donations, they're from individuals that
WORK at those companies and when they're Dean's they're from the companies themselves??

Sorta like how Dean gets trashed for having a "Republicans for Dean" site supporting him but Kerry gets attributed to "appealing to a diverse group" when the anecdotal story of a single Repub voter who's voting for Kerry gets circulated.

6. I wonder if even one Kerry supporter
will do in this thread, what I did in a similar one about Kerry, point out that these are employees and not the companies.

7. Well it may be redundant now that you've said so
but yes everyone should realize that corporations cannot contribute to campaigns, this just means the people who worked for that company.
