"Fairness" - Democrat vs. Republican definitions
There is a room with 20 people in it.
A stack of twenty $1 bills is placed in the center of the room.
A solitary instruction reads "This money is for you." with no further clarification.

Democrats: They will divide the money evenly, each person getting $1.
Republicans: They will sprint towards the pile of money, pushing and shoving others out of the way to take it all for themselves.

The Democrats will say, "We were fair. We divided the money up evenly."
The Republicans will say, "We were fair. Anyone could have gotten the cash if they were strong and fast enough. Everyone had an equal chance."

==============================================================================

This is what we need to make clear to the American people.
This is how we win back Government.

1. I'm not sure that parable works.
For one thing it's easy enough for one to infer that the Democrats in this parable are really acting like socialists.

A revision might be.

Socialists - Everybody gets a dollar.
Democrats - People grab what they can, but in a spirit of fairness (no kicking biting or gouging aloud).
Republicans - Use whatever they have, up to and including firearms to seize as much money as possible.

2. No, socialism would be everyone emptying half of their wallet into the pot
and then dividing it evenly
