His wife said sickos were glorifying a horrible photograph. The Marine himself says "I WOULDN'T DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN LOOKING BACK"

Seriously, I expect this guy to be "in demand" when he comes home. Here's to hoping he enjoys it as much as possible.

Does anyone have this marine's address?
Even if it was readily available...you'd have to get in line!
The Los Angeles Times article on the Marine and the photo said that
"women are wanting to write him"...
Another human aspect: among his family and friends...it was only his mother who
immediately recognized him when his image was shown on TV news!

Well, I think if she sold T-shirts with the picture on the front it wouldn't take long to get that satellite dish. My idea, I wan't the first one. Just waiting to go to town and walk through all the non-smoking establishments with my chest puffed out and watch 'em faint in the aisles.

Fox reported that his superiors were thrilled with all the attention their unit was receiving because of this picture...so maybe things are changing for the better.

Not to be disagreeable, but I like that photo of the the "Marlboro Man". I'm getting a dup. and framing it.

I do have to point out that the Post is a tabloid-formatted newspaper. Marlboro Man fit on the cover perfectly. This photo is too wide for anything but a broadsheet, and cropping it would take away from its power.
