PHOTO: BUSH LIED! FIRE HIM!

A banner hangs from an apartment building near the venue of the annual World Social Forum in Caracas January 28, 2006. Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said on Friday Washington planned to brand Venezuela a sponsor of terrorism as he used the World Social Forum to vent against U.S. imperialism and the Iraq war. The socialist leader has become one of U.S. President George W. Bush's fiercest critics after putting his self-styled revolution at the heart of regional opposition to Washington's free-market proposals for South America. REUTERS/Christian Veron

That's one of their "Pink Slips" for W. Check out their site:

Here's a picture when they hung a banner in a hotel window where Bush was speaking in Los Angeles, 2003.

4. Unfortunately 70 or so percent of the (high $) apt owners here are
Greedy - they like the shrub. Different cities have diff percentages. Many LOVE the fact that their (non-earned) dollars are being taxed to a lesser degree.

I believe this one was in San Francisco last year.

Code Pink has sponsored several of these.
I am not surprised to see them in Venezuela.

On Edit: WOW you people are fast. If I don't get up to speed, I'll become irrelevant. :+

6. When * was in Los Angeles, they hung one across from where he was speaking
It was great -- anyone who looked out the window from the building where Bush was speaking had to see that enormous pink slip. Code Pink rented a couple of high rise hotel rooms and hung it out the window. Eventually the managers of the hotel made them take it down, but it made a great pic in the paper.

7. I remember-at the Century Plaza CP actually locked and left the rooms
and RW goons broke the locks on the doors to take down the damn banner (wouldn't want Dubya to find he isn't doing a swell job).
