Is Kerry still using the phrase "average Americans"?

I remember Kerry on MTP about a year ago. He kept using the phrase "average Americans" - it just sounded odd. What is average? Who wants to be called average?

Since then I have heard him use it once or twice - but I don't think he uses it as much. I hope not.

Someone close to his campaign needs to make sure that he totally stops using that phrase. Instead, he should say middle-class Americans or the American people - whatever, just not "average Americans".
