I guess Dick and Lynne are forgetting that the image they've promoted of Laura Bush for the last five years has been one of a quiet, unassuming housewife who doesn't 'worry her mind' about politics, international affairs, etc. She stays home and bakes cookies for Georgie and the girls.

Do they honestly think the grass-roots constituents they've fired up for five years -- you know, the hawks, the war-mongers, the members of the He-Man-Woman-Haters-Club, are going to lie down for a HOUSEWIFE running the country, the war in Iraq, and so on?

The Neo-Cons have had it. Their only chance of holding on to any kind of political power is to put another Bush puppet in the White House. I guess the recent surveys they've conducted on Jeb didn't turn out too well, eh?

The name 'BUSH', for the VAST MAJORITY of middle-class Americans is now synonymous with sky-high deficits, job losses, medical coverage losses, doubled and tripled home heating costs and the price of gas at the pump ... the list goes on and on.

If they're honestly even thinking about running Laura, it's a sure sign that they are TRULY DESPERATE!

Edited to add: If Laura really ran, can you imagine what the tabloids would do with their photos of Barbie & Jenna? The prices for these 'inconvenient' photos and stories would be worth a fortune -- spread out (you should pardon the pun) on the front page of every tabloid, for all the world to see what a GREAT JOB Laura has done with her own Family-Values-Christian children!
