Since none of the candidates are going to do it, I will concede the race to Kerry. Dean is in single digits in all states now, as the "momentum" snowball in the front loaded primary multiplies.

Edwards is now tied in SC, and only Clark has a lead in OK.

Dean's latest strategy is like a football coach who is down by 24 with 2 minutes left thinking he can just score a quick touchdown, get 2, the do an onsides kick and repeat the process 2 more times, then win it in overtime.

Can it work? Yeah, and the sun could also explode tomorrow as well.

It's bad for us that it will be over so quickly. Kerry needs to take some jabs and uppercuts so we can tell if his jaw is glass. Now we can only hope, he is as strong as he needs to be. People think they are doing the party a favor by jumping on the bandwagon "saving the leader money" and "protecting" him, but it is really bad.

I hope things go OK, but I must say I am a little depressed now.

5. I wish it was up to me
Then it wouldn't be over.

I want it to continue, but the news yesterday was just terribly depressing. All the commentators are acting like Dean is gone next week, and basically feel the same way with the other non Kerry candidates.

Why can't they just focus on the issues, report on them and comment on them, instead of making how far someone is ahead as the main reason to vote for that person.

9. Issues are Bye-Bye-Bye (to quote NYSYNC) The great analytical reporters
are long dead or gone...and the networks have determined WE don't want to hear of issues. Just horse races & Scandals.

2. It's only two races so far
If he sweeps it all this week it'll be very hard for anyone to compete, but that hasn't happened yet. I'm not against his being the candidate as much as I just prefer someone else, but it's not over yet. The two wins do make this coming week pretty interesting, not that it wasn't already.

3. Kerry's had jabs and uppercuts
all of his adult life and he's still kicking.

If it is over, I would like to see the others stay around for a while if only to get another public voice bashing bush and promoting their positive ideas for America. If they can help Kerry fine-tune/improve his message and beat up on bush and his right-wing friends at the same time, America's chances for sane leadership will be greatly improved.

6. For Very Personal Reasons I Want Dean & Kerry on the Stage Alone for Calif
Not so much as a test of Kerry's manhood or political skills and mature judgment and disciple, rather the opposite.:7

7. Yeah I want to see that too
I am also not sold on Kerry, but I always love the underdog, so I guess in truth I will nevfer be happy 100 percent with the winner.

I guess part of me just feels cheated cause it wasn't much of a race since it was so front-loaded. I love competition, and think it makes the candidates better, and satiates my interest in politics. I waited 4 years for this excitment and for it to be over in 2 weeks means I have to wait another 208 weeks for another primary that matters.

I wish they would restructure the primaries so there is more than one the first week, so there can be multiple winners. Say 4 of them. That gives 1 to 4 candidates a chance to win one, then the whole "momentum" thing will disappear. If you can finish 1 or 2 in those 4 states, then you truly dont have viability. Then there can be like a couple week to a month cooling off period then an ever increasing number of primaries.

So basically it would go from 8 or more to 4 to a couple, instead of 8 to 1 after just 2 states.

4. Don't give up yet.
The day after NH I donated 100$ each to Dan and Clark. More than I should have really, but I want to keep this contest alive. I think these primaries are invigorating the Democrat parties, and we should keep this going as long as possible.

So why don't you donate even as much as 10$ to whoever you support.

8. I would but...
... I have been unemployed for over a year now. I have worked little jobs from time to time, but I have almost spent my entire retirement, savings and investments paying my house, car, students loans, and expenses.

Thanks to GW Bush and his War on the Economy, I have to start over again at 33.

12. Your storry hits home - painfully
and is so true for a lot of people. I have started over many years older than you. I'm certainly not happy about it and miss my prior career very much. This is just one of many reasons GW needs to go bye-bye.

11. Two months ago the same things were being said
about Dean and his inevitability. It's not over yet. As a Kerry supporter, I hope Edwards wins SC and Clark wins OK with Kerry a close second in both. I'm not ready for it to be over yet either.

Don't really care about Dean.

Don't really care about Dean.
