and let slip some information that directly incriminates the White House and himself in a crime? I think Leahy will question him like a tough prosecutor and he should. But, Democrats should insist on more witnesses than just Gonzalez. Perhaps they should start at the NSA? If it is too hot to handle, they can transfer them over to the Intelligence Committee. But, the idea that these large spying operations in our government, funded by our tax dollars, are not answerable to the people, is beyond comprehension.

Alberto does have a great personal story...but it seems to end when he finished law school. He does deserve a lot of credit for getting to that point but from what I have seen he has basically been carried around by Rove (W) since then and I wouldn't want him to be my lawyer. Just an observation.

Getting back to the question-I don't think he really has what it takes to fend of any questions both in not being able to work on the fly (they are surely going to put him through the "murderboards" like they did Alito) and because simply put it seems pretty clear that Bush broke the law. Black and white, no question.
