Did Al Gore ever say "Bush should be impeached for spying on terrorists"?
On CNN or elsewhere?

The Glenn McCoy political cartoon in today's KC Star has Al Gore saying that. I know it's just a cartoon, but . . . . :nuke:

2. I wrote them a letter about the speech, because I watched it.

He said the president broke the law by spying on AMERICANS.

I was wondering if Gore said something somewhere else that I missed. He hasn't been on CNN has he? The cartoon shows a CNN logo behind him.

Al Gore just isn't that stupid, even if he were for impeachment, he wouldn't give them that kind of target.

3. He didn't utter the word "impeach" ans said terrorism is a real threat
that needs to be dealt with. Must be a very, very funny cartoon. SNL funny (there "Gore" said Kerry lost to W)

5. You're expecting sanity from a wingnut
He's a sulking 5 year old in adult form demanding perfect obedience to his big Cowboy Daddy.

What President Gore actually said is immaterial to him.

6. Just like election 2000.
They seize on something he said. Change it around, repeat it over and over with the help of the media and it becomes the truth.

Funny, Bush says something outrageous; like not caring where Bin-Laden is, he denies it during the debate and that's the end of the discussion.

7. He said special counsel needs to investigate illegal spying on AMERICANS

Typical media lying smear tactic against Gore to misrepresent what he said. He supports legal wiretapping to apprehend terrorists, but opposes illegal warrantless wiretapping of Americans without oversight.

10. Al Gore said a special prosecutor should be appointed
he never said impeachment, but some people might take that as a hint of it.

right to Privacy - in response to a President who is spying on AMERICANS who ARE NOT TERRORISTS.

Do they FEAR Gore?

Or -

Is there a connection between King George's spying on Americans and Valerie Plame?
