DU this: email Larry King show and ask for Gore to be on for the hour!
Edited on Tue Jan-17-06 04:05 PM by Wordie
What other msm program could get the message out as well as Larry King Live? After all, Gore's speech was an historic event. A former Vice President openly challenging a sitting president, saying his actions are not legal - what could be more newsworthy than that? I think King just might do it. I think people could stress how newsworthy Gore's speech was and that might be convincing to King and the show's producers. They would get great ratings for such a show, and that could be a convincing argument for them. It is the best hope of getting Gore's speech the attention it needs in msm, imho.

We need to flood Larry King with requests that he have Gore on to explain his statements in detail to the American public! Join me! Ask others to email him too!

Here is the Larry King CNN comments page link:
http://www.cnn.com/feedback/forms/form5.html?12

(I don't have Larry King's direct email. If it is available, could someone please post it?)

Edit: Here's Al Gore's contact information:

The Office of the Honorable Al Gore
2100 West End Avenue
Nashville, TN 37203
Phone: (615) 327-2227
Fax: (615) 327-1323

(thanks to poli speak for this information)
Please contact Gore too, and ask him to go on Larry King's show!

Larry King loves to be the center of attention. He can't go wrong getting Al on the show.

4. Whenever Gore wants to appear on TV
all he has to do is pick up the phone. He's a former VP.

and ratings issues. Whatever one might think about King, a full hour of Gore could get the message out, and with enough requests, I doubt King would refuse. Gore is a former Vice President, after all.

12. Just called his office, and...
they say the speech stands alone.

Not doing any media apparently, but I encouraged them nevertheless. I think their phone is ringing off the hook.

Why would he not want to go on Larry King. His speech was inspired, but more people need to know about it. I wonder what the thinking could be.

Do you think he could be convinced to do it?

16. YES, he can be convinced.
Here's what I think it means: Al Gore is simply a moral servant to our country. I don't think he realized what a profound reaction and resulting action his speech would get. Too many cowards in our Party leadership anymore.

Takes me back to Jimmy Carter's speech at the convention; Mr. Carter also did it because it was the right thing to do. The Kerry people were furious because they thought it was too negative.
