Time to wake up!
Illegal surveillance, illegal warfare, sponsoring of torture, voter fraud - how much more do you need to wake up to the reality that a one-party police state is mounting itself?
I there anything that speaks against a substantial erosion of democratic rights in America?

Isnt it time to mobilize the people of America against the abuse of power from the Whitehouse?

Please go out and talk to your moderate republican friends, your fellow democrats, to all friends and family, to your complacent or disillusioned fellow americans. Talk about the constitution, talk about the corruption, talk about loss of freedom and the loss of lives. Set the nation ablaze with a demand for JUSTICE!

Put the main stream media on the defense, make a splash that they cannot turn a deaf ear to!

Make this your urgent task: get your friends and family to realize that this is a turning point and that everything that americans take for granted could be lost in a short while!
Make impeachment the goal, but keep the campaign broad and general - pick at least five targets where America is loosing its privileges and freedoms because of the present administration! Bring it up with those who you can influence, especially those who can influence others.

1. Welcome to DU!
You make some really good points. I have been talking-or rather listening. Folks I know who are apolitical have come up and talked to ME about these things. They are really mad and are ready to march or do whatever.

3. as a matter of fact,
I have lunch every Wednesday with about 9 Republican ladies,
(it's a work thing)
let me just say that they have always been eager to hear my side of the
story, .....prompting me and smiling at my answers,,(those crazy democrats)
always shaking their heads and smirking at my explanations,..........
I consider myself very well informed, and try to make an effort to keep
my cool,,,,,, not easy for me. (esp after Kerry 'lost')
but I have noticed since the last 6 months or so, Iraq war,
Jeff Gannon, DeLay,(I live in Houston) Ambramoff, NSA,,, et al, that they have
become more somber and don't like discussing anything political........
I think they are finally figuring it all out, and
the truth hurts.
Now they aren't smiling anymore. they avert their eyes.....

Yes, Keep Talking.....
