This is my second go at this, the first one got bonsai-ed... Now this is all pretty much off the cuff, I have no links. Howard Dean pushes to the front of the media, claims anti-war status and his progresive campaign style wins the hearts of those who do not wish to be mainstream.
Kucinich's candidacy pulls the further left leaning voters into the fold of the Democrat mainstream. He has the vocal issue support of Ralph Nader however, Nader said the only way he would not run is if Dean wins the nomination. In respects to Kucinich's longstanding Democrat background i can believe Kucinich will support whoever the Democrat's nominee is, Dean.
Clark's candidacy at this time pulls the conservative pool into the fold of the Democrat mainstream. The conservative of the Democrats and the progressive of the Republicans can easily stand with Clark. When Clark loses he will put his support behind the Democrat's nominee, Dean.
The large base of possibilities in the Democrat primary first leads to the weakness of George Bush, then to a groundswelling of issue ideas into the Democrat voter base. The voter base of the Democrat party increases pulling the progressive and conservative into the Democrat mainstream.
With the large Democrat voter base and the corporate connection to Dean's candidacy (media, financing) my money goes down on the "Dean spot" of the political roulette table. George Bush is taking a lot of hits and is inept at creating a viable working and living environment for both laborer and corporation.
I can not say for sure but, I believe the Republican hierarchy and the Democrat's have a fix on... or, it is mere circumstance that Dean has the captivating spot of political entertainment.
I support Kucinich, I will vote for him in the primaries and when the primaries are history I will vote for Dean in the Presidential Election. Then, some brisk January day in 2005 I will watch the inaguration of "President Dean" and then like a tornado of activism I will push forth the goals of the Progressives. I will act to bring the government not to be "the government" but "my government" or "our government".
