Since my brother in law lives in Saudi Arabia; he and my husband phone each other regularly.

So I take it our phones might be tapped. What do you think? They do say a lot of very bad things about Dubya to each other :rofl

But it seems highly likely that they were "mined." I was in Romania for most of last year and called the States daily. I expect they've got my dulcet tones on a hard drive somewhere.

And no, I didn't know anything about the Black Hole of Bucharest at the time.

I too, have relatives there.

Mine's probably monitored, along with my email and bank account.

We try not to say too much. We've had calls mysteriously cut off before. Especially during the first Gulf War, if one of us mentioned anything the least bit political or military.

Then again, they should have figured out our identities by now and realized we're no threat to the POTUS.
