Bush's Combat
Edited on Tue Jan-03-06 09:57 AM by erpowers
It was reported a few days ago that President Bush visited soldiers at Brook Army Medical Center in Texas. Something that has not been reported very much is a comment Bush made while at the hospital. While at the hospital and after he pinned nine purple heart medals on soldiers Bush compared what soldier went through in battle with what happened to him at his ranch. Bush actually said that it could be said that he himself was injured. He pointed out that the injury did not happen at the hospital, but at his ranch. Bush then went on the say that he had gone through combat with a cedar tree at his ranch. Yes Bush actually used the word combat. Bush claimed that he eventually got the upper hand on the tree.

I know that Republican are hypocrites on this issue, but it still causes me to ask why is it that the Republican do not come out and criticize Bush for claiming that he went through combat, especially since it was with a tree. We remember what the Republicans did to Kerry concerning his three purple hearts, by trying to claim he really did not earn all of them and putting on purple heart band aids. The media and others should be criticizing Bush for being so trivial towards combat. As I said before, especially since he was trying to cut down a tree and especially saying this just after he had pinned purple hearts on soldiers. This is a great insult to all soldiers who fought and were wounded in the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars.

2. What an affront to the troops
To even hint at equating his little boo boo with the injuries suffered by purple heart recipients surpasses anything this little wuss has ever said. He should be barred from ever using the word "combat" in the same sentence with the words "I" or "me".

4. replay even further to his I've raised twins, and I've seen combat
(or maybe he said "I've been to war") - and he laughingly says he would take the war/combat anyday. As if raising twins is in anyway comparable. The man has a very inappropriate sense of humour and no sense that what he says is very offensive.

5. America's Embarrasment to the World: George W. Bush
They should take the * MFer out to crawl on his belly through the brush with live fire strafing overhead: if he successfully doesn't shit himself, give him a purple bandaid.

6. Interview with the docs
I watched his presser with the docs/nurses behind him as props just to see how low he can go. He keeps surpassing my expectations, just when I think he can't go lower.

His camera mugging showing his forehead scratch was an absolute disgrace, especially considering the hospital venue. Those docs and nurses, military or not, should have walked off his little stage in disgust. No respect for his 'office' need be shown as he shows none himself.

8. King George declares war
From what I can tell, not only is our puppet-tyrant at war with trees, the whole corrupt regime that supports him, has been at war with trees and nature, as a whole, for a very long time.

7. I saw that clip and it made me want to hurl, too.
How DARE HE---what gall!:puke:

He is SOOOOO insecure in his manhood, that he must compare "combat" with a tree to the REAL thing. Anything to pump up his own fragile ego.
