The Beltway Boys on FOX NEWS - Year End Show
Edited on Sat Dec-31-05 06:38 PM by Jaundice James
I just finished watching the Beltway Boys Year End Show where they announced all of their "awards" for the year.

What a talanted duo! As bad as this year was for Bush and the Republicans, they STILL managed to spin it into making the Bush Administration look good and the Democrats look bad. I guess I don't watch FOX News enough because I still get shocked at how BLATANT they are.

Fox News Watch is probably about the do the same thing coming on next.

Olbermann says FOX News Watch is worth watching, but I've never seen it:

2. I watch Fox News Watch....
It's pretty good.... Neil Gabler alone is worth watching, he doesn't minces words and often bashes FOX news itself, esp. the O'reilly/Hannity clan. Jane is good too. You just have to bear Jim and Cal. I recommend it... it's good.

11. It's on Saturdays at 6.30 PM eastern....
and again at like 2.30 AM eastern. It really is good. But I suffer through the Beltway Boys most weeks to watch it and...today's show was really as shocking as the OP said. Just awful in its bush licking.

Was Mort Kondrake always this bad? It seems to me he used to be moderate. Now he and Fred Barnes speak with virtually one voice.

12. Mort wasn't what he's become that I've seen in the few snips of Fox
I've peeked into. I know he had a wife with MS or something...and maybe the Repugs gave him money to help with medical bills.. He isn't what he used to be..that's for sure. But even Barnes seemed to go way Right...

Maybe they were both always that way...and we just didn't know it. They "covered it." It's a puzzle, for sure.

but, thanks for the link. I can't stand Fox, but given MSNBC and CNN's total Lock Down for the Right Wing...I figure: "how much worse can Fox be?" and if that show is good, I'll check it out.

Kind of desperate to see anyting on MSM that isn't Guns,God,Gays,Gals and Victims, Visciousness and Vacuity.

3. Bulimics can stop sticking their fingers down their throat.
They can watch a tape of the Beltway Boys.

That was the most gag-inducing 30 minutes of TV I've seen in a long, long time.

If they would rename the show THE BUSHIE BOYS, it would be fine.

6. Fred Barnes (I think it's him) is a complete ass!
BB is so far gone, it's almost unbelievable - Rove himself couldn't spin as good as they do.

Fox News Watch is great though (just skip over the viewer mail segment at the end). Neil is awesome - he must have quite the stash of photos on Rupert because I'm still wondering how he has a job. Even the conservatives on the show aren't *that* bad (if you can make it through Jim's incessent hand gestures).

7. I agree about Fox News Watch.
It's the only thing really worth watching on Fox News.

5. What I think Democrats should do is......
....stop even going on FOX. Just let them have their own propaganda machine, and do it without our people giving them fodder by showing up and allowing those Nazi's to ridicule them by lying about the Democratic record and then shouting to not let them argue back. I just don't see what that gets us. People who watch that crap for what they believe to be actual news will NEVER be swayed in our direction, so why waste the time and energy?

10. If I was a politician
I wouldn't go on there either. Especially since they'd find some way to turn your words against you.

14. The beltway boys can kiss my .......
you know what. That is the problem with Fox, 24/7 right wing propaganda under the disguise of "News". All with the American flag wavering at the top left corner.
