When Can We Expect Abramoff To Start Singing? ........
When will we begin to see the effects of him copping a plea? Early Jan 06 or later on in the year closer to Nov? We need to time these things so that they string out until Nov. DeLay goes down. Rove indicted. Frist brought down on SEC violations. Abramoff sings and brings down a couple more. Texas redistricting overturned by SC. Blair forced out of office. More Downing Street Memos. Pullout of troops in Iraq as a Repug ploy to win the hearts and minds of the sheeple for the Nov elections. Sheeple reject the Repugs and * and the November elections give Senate and House back to the Dems. Cheney indicted. * impeached. 2006 could be a good year.

1. Pardon my cynicism, this is about shutting him up.
What makes you think a plea bargain with the Justice Dept. will mean he takes the Pukes down? Sure, there will be a few show pieces (maybe even Delay) to give appearance of doing something, then they'll shut it down, "Move on, nothing more to see here". He will only name names on folks they want him to name. This is a DoJ that goes after the whistleblower, not the wiretapper. They will only ask the questions that will move their agenda forward. How many dems are supposed to be on his list? Do you really think they will let him sing? Did they let LH Oswald sing?

2. I don't think we get to pick the timeline.
I think now is a perfect time.

Abramoff will name names the charges will be brought up, and probably all before the of january. All these people will have ties in some form or another to Bush, that will take up a great part of the year.

Bush's inquiry into finding out who whistleblew his spying crime will take up another chunk of the beginning of the year, but I expect this to be thumped by the investigation of his illegalities in spying. We might even find he spied on people he shouldn't have, like the Kerry campaign, or democratic leaders.

Iraq will hit 2500 dead soldiers by spring, and the question as to why we are their will be debated, perhaps enough to switch the 22% remaining people who still think he caused 911 to take notice.

Abu Gharib photos, as far as I know are to be released sometime, but I imagine they might have a few other plans to delay them for a few more months...but they will come, along with further damaging evidence against torture, the Wapo has been holding onto.

Karl Rove will be indicted and the resident will look like he has been sheltering a criminal, if he even decides to let him go, who knows what might happen in that case...

regardless bush is toast, be patient, this will all happen.

4. Between now and January 9.
That's when Abramoff's criminal trial for fraud starts, and he's agreed to squeal in order to get a lighter sentence on that charge. It might be a while after that before we find out exactly what is coming down on whom. Remember how long it took for Fitzmas to get here?

Some believe he has already started singing, however. The recent Wa Po article implicating The Hamper might be an indication that this is so.
