Bush visits to V.A. Hospitals?
Does anyone recall ever seeing the C in C visiting the wounded at a V.A. hospital? I can't and I find it hard to believe that any such visit would go unreported or without a photo-op.
I hear he will be making his first visit to a Texas hospital soon.

2. Since Bush took office...
...My VA co-pays have gone up 300%. It's still affordable, but wrong for all the new returning vets coming into the system!

3. I talked to a reporter who interviewed the Mom of a soldier Bush visited.
The woman was at her amputee son's bedside at a military hospital in DC, when Bush came in and mouthed some generalities at her son. The woman said she stared at Bush the whole time to see if he would dare look directly at her. He did not look directly at her or her son - didn't have the balls to look them in the eyes. I would expect he just refuses to go there where these grievously wounded vets will not suck up to him and smile for the cameras.

8. I would like to see some intrepid reporter
during Smirk's next "Press conference" ask, "Can you give me the names of 5 of the US soldiers who have died since "Mission Accomplished". SMirk would throw the mother of all hissy fits, then probably piss his pants.

12. I remember when Cindy Sheehan was on Malloy's show once
and she told of her meeting with Bush and that was very creepy of how he reacted to him. I also remember hearing on BradBlog's radio show of a solider who met Bush and he treated him the same way. That interview is probably up in the archives at bradblog.com

4. Bush has no shame.
If he did, he'd make sure the ones coming home now with messed up minds would get the help they need, for as long as they need it. And the ones with missing limbs, eyes, sensibilities would forever be cared for by the US government and the son of a bitch who sent them there to be cannon fodder. Instead he'll stand around and smile/smirk and tell them how he will get more killed to validate their wounds.

Don't get me started :grr:

7. Don't worry, if he ever does,
there will be wall-to-wall coverage beginning three days before and wrapping up three days afterward. Tweety might hump a * doll right on the air.

11. On his way back to Washington
after being down there for a week on another one of his vacations he will take a few minutes to drop in for a visit.
Anybody notice how his visit has been already reported on 4 days in advance. I hope the media doesn't take up all the medical staff parking spots.

13. Let's see if it still happens or if something "will come up"
Or he'll give some ra-rah speech infront of a group of military.
