The Week following the Libby indictment - cartoons
The week of Plame Game cartoons ended the day Scooter Libby was indicted. We decided to capitalize on the name and have a little fun the next week. We made some subtle points about the state of the American consumer and how they comprehend information. Then we made a point about how big companies are sponsoring events these days, and segue back to the White House for some more shell and pea game from the Bushies. We end the week alluding to Scooter's cryptic "at the roots" comment in his letter to Judy Miller.

No One Hates Scooter's Indictment more than LIBBY'S FOODS

7. I was wondering that.
I tested it and an amazing number of people recognized the jingle, so we used it.

My oldest niece is 33, and she thinks it's hilarious. She likes the Libby series over all the others. Go figure.

8. I've thought about sending it to Libby's, but ...
... but my experience with large companies is they react by reflex. They'd send me a cease and desist, and I'd send them an FU, more to follow letter.

10. Getting anything to anyone is difficult.
Getting a decision that isn't defined and constrained even tougher.
