Don't get me wrong... i really feel for this woman and anyone who has lost a son. But her actions lately are bordering on the bizarre. She seems more interested in getting publicity than really doing much to help her son or other sons who are in danger. She gives the enemy more ammo than she should and she's starting to come off as a nutcase who will hurt us come election time.

I think what we need are some more solid rational people to take us to election day... people who the mainstream American can relate to. I really like Obama because he's that type of person who believes in the right things and yet commands respect as a leader.



Note: Again, none of this is meant to attack Ms. Sheehan in anyway or detract from her suffering. This is solely a political commentary/opinion on the situation.

In some parts of the British Isles, Saint Stephen's Day is the occasion for boys (the Wren Boys) to go from house to house, one of them carrying a dead wren on a branch decorated with all kinds of gay, streaming ribbons. Stopping in front of each door they sing a song and receive little gifts in return. The wren is "stoned" to death in memory of Saint Stephen's martyrdom.
