WHO CONTACTED CONGRESS TODAY RE: "KING" BUSH SPYING ILLEGALLY?
I placed 12 calls - all my reps in congress PLUS Frist, Reid, Pelosi, Hastert, Hoyer, Menendez, Kennedy, Byrd....

BUT it was TOO DAMN EASY to get through to everyone but Warner.... :wtf:

PEOPLE PLEASE - make noise, be heard, fire up the phone lines, fill their in-boxes with email and snail mail. We cannot depend on MSM to carry this story - we have to drive it!

We have to speak out and support those few brave Dem's who are calling for a true investigation. WHY did Bush ignore the FISA court? BECAUSE they would not grant him the warrants he wanted - a good guess is the warrants are based on partisan politics and witch-hunts for those opposed to his policies. We know the pentagon was spying on the Quakers (talk about non-violent!) - who else did Bush want to take down?
:grr:
Remember - HE WAS JUDGE AND JURY in these warrants - and HE defines terrorists as anyone who doens't stand with HIM.

PLEASE - how many of us called today? How many are calling tomorrow? How many LTTE were written? How many radio talk shows called?

Let's make some noise, let's remind congress that EVEN THE PREZ HAS TO OBEY THE LAW and make sure they KNOW that we are watching them.

I don't expect it to do much good. OTOH, maybe they'll tap my phone. I'll have to start swearing more.

8. It says John Dean actually spurred this on.....
In a release issued this evening, Boxer said she's asked "four presidential scholars" for their opinion on impeachment after former White Housel counsel John Dean -- made famous by his role in revealing the Watergate tapes -- asserted that President Bush had 'admitted' to an 'impeachable offense.'

15. I called and now I am writing a letter to the editor.
here's the first draft.

Dec 18, 2000 president elect George W Bush said in an interview, "if this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier- just so long as I'm the dictator."  Many dismissed that statement as a joke. It's not funny anymore now that we find that he has ordered illegal warrant-less wiretaps on US citizens.  He says that his being commander in chief gives him broad powers.  Those broad powers do not put him above the law. If he does not want to abide by the laws he swore to uphold, he must be removed from office.
