After watching Bush's speech last night I realized
that no one has inflated more, pumped up more, aggrandized more and recruited for more, the "terraists" and "terraism" than this President. It is his only horse and he has flogged it to an inch of its life. The scariest word in his speech was "perpetual" and the context in which it was used. I feel like that Far Side dog cartoon - all I hear from Bush is blah blah blah 9/11 blah blah blah, terraist, blah blah, blah, 9/11 blah blah blah terraism blah blah blah 9/11 blah blah blah

Of course, we are not one whit safer - we are however poorer and scareder and stripped of our civil rights.

Hey! Mr. President! Over here! We'd like a "Constitutional Democracy" right here!

1. Yes, we have a man that hates Democracy here touting the fact that he
will bring Democracy to the Middle East.

It is a Far Side cartoon.

4. It is * and his cronies interests that they have terrorists...
You need to have an enemy to scapegoat if you want perpetual war. As long as there are terrorists they have an excuse for an inflated military budget and to act like a dictator.

6. I kept noticing two things
several times, when he was describing the terrorists, I thought he was describing America and what he and his cronies are doing to us.

Also, whenever he mentioned something we know is BS (such as WMDs) he blinked furiously and his eyebrows perked up just a bit (like he was about to laugh) instead of his usualy beady eyed stare. Then several other times, he started blinking and made me wonder if he was lying about that too.
