Really. He is out there making speeches, he has the MSM cheering him along, talking about how "firm he is in his beliefs" (without ever mentioning insane, delusional people have that same quality.) This bothers me....what if this succeeds, and he starts going up in the polls again? It will be totally demoralizing. I shudder to think about it.

2. The best he is going to do is 50% approval
and I don't see that happening anytime soon.

3. We work twice as hard to counter it
having the truth on your side is a remarkable asset.

4. Well, of course we work hard,
But it is difficult with the media giving the Chimp his 100th opportunity to redeem himself. Some of the people who don't get the facts from the internet like we do will fall for this stuff.

5. I wouldn't worry much. He's not going to succeed.
What little good his speech tonight might have done for him will be more than offset by the spying on Americans story. Add the DeLay, Frist, Abramoff stories to that, you can relax.

6. Thanks....
I hope you are right. I think the Tweety comment about Mt. Rushmore just about put me over the edge. I just can't understand how the MSM can say anything good about him with a straight face. But they do, and they PRAISE him. It just drives me nuts.

Americans aren't buying his canned speech. Then check www.icasualties.org.

8. It's Working... "We" had a window - but it's closing... UNLESS
Tomorrow, the Dems come out shooting for impeachment over the domestic spying.

But so far, I'm hearing a lot of mealy mouthed responses from the usual suspects...

Feingold only one making THE COGENT and SALIENT arugments about how serious this is.

14. No surprise there...
He always seems to be the one who says it like it is. I admire him tremendously. We need a President like Feingold. Is he going to run?

9. He was wrong on WMD and he's wrong that we can "win".
There's nothing for us to "win" there. He's desperately looking to save his legacy...this was to be his crowning achievement...and he will go down as the worst pResident ever. In 6 months, one of 2 things happen-

(1) The government doesn't coalesce around a central moderate leadership...but is too weak and power factions will keep Iraq from stabilizing politically. Meanwhile, more and more Americans die and more people at home begin to realize that we cannot "win" there.
(2) One segment will dominate...the radical fundie Shi'ites. They'll also be Iran's proxy. They'll demand our exit from Iraq. Then what do we do?

Many posting here 3 years ago predicted this.

How did the dipshit do with his speech tonight????

I just got home and I did scan the forum here.. but not much info on the speech

I did check out the CNN poll and according to that, he must not have convinced many viewers.

So on a scale of 1 to 10, with TEN being the suckiest... how did his speech go?

for any info!

12. Polls go up, polls go down.
It doesn't really matter what he does . . . he's lost the respect and trust of the masses and will never get them back.

13. Bend over and kiss your @$$ goodby
Ooops, I mean "your country".

I see some "not to worry" posts...THAT scares me.

Never take your eyes off a poisonous snake in your path...even if it's hiding in the grass.

Dumbya and his crew are pure evil and they've got the goods on too many Corporate media types. (Hence the ooos and ahs over his recitation of the words of Karen/surrogate mommy/Hughes)

Beware the cock who humbly ducks his head before crowing...his spurs have been honed razor sharp.
