Given the many accounts of his "visible anger" on Saturday, Andy Card may press for beta blockers to keep him more "even keeled" and less likely to come off as defensive. However, when they did that before (at least I suspect way back when), he came off with the "deer-in-the headlights" dull ass fearful look, which similarly back-fired on them....Given he is giving this speech past his bedtime, (and without his usual Camp David/Crawford hidden Wild Turkey binge), his anger may be right at the surface. We shall see...
