So, if Bush decides that Laura is getting on his nerves and, thus is
distracting him from his duties as Commander-in-Chief which, in turn, could undermine his War on Terruh, under the reasoning of his detractors, he could beat her up or worse with impunity.

After all, they're saying that it doesn't matter what the law says - that the President has the constitutional authority to ignore any law if he, in his own wisdom, decides that he must do so in order to fight the war on terruh.

Hmmm. Don't piss him off, Laura . . .

1. Hah! Good point!
"As Commander in Chief and sole arbiter of what I can and can't do, I have decided that acquiring a second, much younger wife, preferably a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, will greatly improve my already stupendously wonderful prosecution of the War on Terror. Thank you, good night, and God bless America."

I'd love to see the response to that!

2. Ha Ha
"I've also decided that it would seriously screw up my war on terruh if I had to leave office in January 2009, especially if a Democrat is next in line, so I have every right to stop the 2008 elections from taking place."

3. Apparently the only law a president cannot break
is lying to Congress - but only if he's lying about extramarital activities.
