2. Yup. Maybe this is it. Tens of thousands of slaughtered innocents, and
many more tortured, or others with no names spirited away on black flights to secret torture dungeons in middle Europe and points east, treason, lies, and who knows how many other felonies and war crimes, that this--domestic spying--is just the latest of. Maybe the concept of "critical mass" will come into play, and some silly thing--like our Constitutional rights--will come along and tip the balance.

WHO are they spying on?

And WHO are they hooding and sending off to Poland?

We need to know.

4. Lets see the brush administration has now been responsible for
torture and illegal spying on US citizens. What next? Outing a CIA officer. Oh, wait, they did that already. How about marketing propaganda as news in the US, nope that's been done. Money laundering and bribery is the standard method of business with repukes so you can't include that. I guess the high crimes and misdemeanor list must include some very serious stuff to get an attempted impeachment from Congress. You know like having consensual sex with an adult. :sarcasm:

5. Here's something I heard recently...
...and I'm not an expert on impeachment (far from it).

BUT...unless we win back a majority in the 2006 elections, as long as the Republicans are in the majority, it doesn't matter how many "impeachable offenses" Bush racks up. If the Republicans don't vote to move for impeachment, it's not going to happen.

I'd like to think that's flat-out WRONG, but since I'm unfamiliar with the process, I'm just sharing what I've heard.

6. Tough times for the Republicans (poor babies!)
They're tied to an unpopular idiot who clearly deserves impeachment. Even hard-core crazies like Santorum are trying to get as far away from Chimpy as they can. Both Kilgore in Virginia and Forrester in NJ publicly blamed pResident Dolt as the reason they lost.

But this close to the election, they can't start impeachment hearings without damaging their party further. They can't pitch Chimpy out but they don't want him in either....
