The Governor of Mississippi should threaten to use his WMD
against the United States. It doesn't matter whether he has them or not. bush would shock and awe the Magnolia State with his great power. AND THEN, maybe gulf coast residents victimized by the past Hurricane Season might get some relief from the joystick in the oval office. Watch with wonder as billions are "flooded" into hurricane ravaged areas as bush tries to bring, well, democracy to Mississippi. He may even reappoint michael brown to lead the charge.

Or, Mississippians and Louisianians can sit back and watch with awe at the slow pace of intervention into their lives which has occurred without a threat to the federal government.

The bush legacy continues to grow; as he is cheered on by the unwashed and uneducated masses at conservative sites.

2. Here's what you folks should really do
All the victims of Hurricane Katrina should stop paying federal taxes. Instead, set up a special fund to collect the revenue and then use that money to rebuild. Since the Feds and HS/FEMA can't seem to figure out how to get assistance where it is needed, the people affected should take matters into their own hands.

3. Thats not a half bad idea.....Have Haley declare war on the US and.....
seal the states borders. We could fortify the military park at Vicksburg, and invade Shiloh.

Hey, it worked for the Duchy of Grand Fenwick in "The Mouse that Roared". Why shouldn't it work for Mississippi!

6. One slight modification to your excellent proposal neighbor
I have to have the secret password getting me into Louisiana on I-10 east of Slidell. Other than that, let's roar!

5. If the situation weren't so tragic, it would be laughable...
NOTHING - literally NOTHING - will convince the sad sacks around me to utter one word of criticism of B*shit and/or the Repukes. They even act as if ol' Haley had committed a faux pas with his mild remarks...they're hopeless, and it's kind of sad.

7. Poor Haley
I make fun of him for acting like a Democrat when the votes of hurricane victims are on the line. Wiggins, way to the right of Picayune. Now don't that suck!
