Al Sistani issues a Fatwa for votes in Iraq
Sistani backs off pure Shiite support in Iraqi

Iraq's top Shiite cleric urged voters in Thursday's elections to vote for those who can safeguard their principles and interests.

The lack of a strong, clear endorsement this time reflects his disappointment with the performance of Jaafari's coalition government, associates have said.

Also,

Speaking to Reuters about his future policies, Jaafari insisted he could not accommodate any militant movements who have sent suicide bombers on missions and killed any Iraqis.

Jaafari said: "There is no room for dialogue with anyone who carries arms in Iraq."

He also ruled out ties with Iraqi guerrillas, even those who had only fought U.S. forces.

All of this indicates continued blood shed in Iraq, someone needs to wake Bush's ass up!

P.S. If he says 30,000 civilians died, the real number is 100,000.

1. Big trouble ahead if Jaafari returns as PM
If this is his atitude, that could seal the deadly deal. But he has disappointed more than just Sistani, and he wasn't even the clear choice of his own coalition last time around.
