Freep-holes react to Junior's speech: "he is confindent"

1). To: Justanobody

The people of Iraq want peace, security and a future....as long as they believe that is what we want for them, and that are resolve is steadfast to that end, we will see this through to completion.....they (the Iraqi's) know what the terrorists want....this isn't brain surgery....

Here is another thing.. We formed our Government ourselves. We did not have any help. We basically formed this nation with our current of government literally from scratch..

Wow, this speech just reminds me why he deserves to be POTUS. Even though we all doubt(ed) his capabilities at one time or another, he quickly reminds us how in control he can be. I think this is a definate turning point for the low polling numbers. I'm betting we'll be seeing a lot more vocal support for Iraq, too. Speaking of polling numbers, did anyone see the slanted poll about how Iraqi's are favoring a US withdrawl by over 60%? I'm betting that its not a true poll, but when I went back to find the story and look at the data, it seems to have disappeared. Has anyone else done more research on this?

9. yeppers, and of course, WE know what's best for them
and they want us to tell them that is what we want for them because they're just stupid little children who can't possibly make their own decisions about their own country.

Oh, wait, these are the same assholes who are telling gays that they know what's best for us too . . . and women, what's best for them, and people on welfare or old folks who need medicine what's best for them.

Get a life, morans!!!11!

6. Yeah, just like he was confident that he'd get bin Laden,
that there were WMD's in Iraq, that he could shove the privatization of Social Security down the throats of the American people, etc., Etc.

11. did this make any sense to anyone?
"Here is another thing.. We formed our Government ourselves. We did not have any help. We basically formed this nation with our current of government literally from scratch.."

Is he saying that there was no precedent for our type of government? That we had no help in throwing off the British? Both are less than accurate.

And the worst part is, our founding fathers would be spinning in their graves if they knew about this administration.

Which reminds me of a joke, where Bush is visited by the ghosts of three great Presidents on Christmas eve:

First, the ghost of Washington comes to him and says, "Always be honest, George! The people will love you and follow you if you are a friend of the Truth."

Then the ghost of Jefferson comes in and says, "Treat everyone with equal respect, George! All people deserve to have equal rights."

Finally, the ghost of Lincoln comes in and says, "Go to the theatre, George...."

13. These must be children or grown-ups with child like brains
because every speech I've heard ** make sounds like he's reading a bed-time story to kids...(including the childlike vocabulary)

No man of the people that one...

Three more years of this, don't know how much more this nation can take.
