3. Lieberman's an embarrassment
Why does this man from a blue state feel he has to pander so much to the Reich-wing?

Maybe we should explain to Joe that choosing whatever's best for Israel over whatever's best for the United States is treason. And, I'm not knocking Israel, I'm just pointing out that this man is a UNITED STATES senator and he should put the UNITED STATES's interests FIRST.

5. THERE IT WAS....I reject the pessimists (says *).
Edited on Wed Dec-07-05 11:24 AM by jhuth
Like Howard for example and his taken out of context quote. Isn't this from the playbook he used during the election last year?

This is deceptive, it is spin, it is his evil heart, it is ROVIAN, it is what we fight. This tactic worked, * was rewarded for his behavior, and the "Straw Man" deceptive technique up until recently always worked.

People can be fooled and tricked, especially considering the blindness of that base he panders too.

How many so-called-fundamentalists really pay attention to facts? Perhaps the Bible has some verses about deception and lying that could get cherry picked by them.

Oh wait, it takes the guidance of clergy to do that....

*sigh*

6. "Pessimists"
Another word for "Realist." Unless you live in Bushworld, where black is white, and white is black.

7. Yup...remember the "Take a Kerry quote out of context, then
label him as a pessimist" strategy last fall?

People eat this shit up. Hopefully this time the people are awake.

10. My hope is that people will see what a stubborn
fool Bush is. There is plenty of reason for pessimism, and his truing to spin a different reality is just sick. As someone on Fucker Carlson said last night, you don't "win" an occupation.

8. This is a game and Lieberman is a fool for playing the patsy.
They are praising him as the Dem of reason and concern and the others as irrational and reckless. They are back to using the scare tactics of the dangers of cutting and running and not staying to fight. Now they say we have to stay to protect the Iraqi's from Iran.

9. Lieberman has placed himself in a position to be used like a
two-bit strumpet. Once * is done with him, he'll be back curbside waiting to turn the next trick.

At least that is what was said in passing on the Sunday talking heads shows.

Somehow I missed that...what a political whore he is. To go to work for the bastard who stole the election from you. Mind-boggling.

sense since they seem to be having a love fest with each other lately.

16. First Post!
Aren't there rumors of Lieberman becoming Secretary of Defense?

I say we encourage that move, even though Connecticut has a GOP Governor I think she is pretty moderate/liberal. So maybe It'll be worth it? Besides if she does appoint a wacko the better chance we'll win in 06!

17. There is a bright side to this Lieberman crap
At least the chief imbecile can't stand up in front of the country and whitewash all Democrats in the same tone now. Lieberman's suck-ass antics have taken the simplicity out of Bush's criticisms of the Democratic Party as a whole when it comes to the war and he has to be a little more careful how he paints us for fear of offending his new pal Joe.

Next time someone asks why the Democratic Party is all over the map, all ya gotta do is point to Joe.
