msnbc fron page: Bush’s view of Iraq doesn’t square with reality

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10267077/

"WASHINGTON - President Bush’s depiction of Iraqi security forces as “helping to turn the tide” is difficult to square with persistent setbacks in handing control of the country back to its own people.

His suggestion that Americans are solidly behind the mission also understates opposition at home, and his hard sell on the rising quality of Iraqi forces overlooks complexities on the ground.

Bush on Wednesday declared the Iraqi army and police forces are “increasingly taking the lead in the fight against the terrorists,” even as recruits patrol Iraq’s most violent cities barely three months after learning how to use weapons and police forces struggle to get officers to come to work. "

1. I'm glad to see a headline like this, but....
...why can't the MSM just come out and say that Bush consistently lies about shit. Constantly, like all the time. No, instead it's something like Bush's view of this or that "doesn't square with reality". And the chimp didn't "mislead" his country into war, he LIED his country into war. Fuck sakes already.

10. Actually, it might be more effective that way...just show the bloody
lie, don't editorialize about it & let people see & hear the truth. The minute you point out the lie, the discussion becomes about your picking on them rather than about the lie itself.

11. MSM's view of reality doesn’t square with reality.
Does corporate ownership of the print media square with the right to a free press?

Did SOS Blackwell's discriminatory discretion to distribute voting resources in a disproportionate way to Ohio voters in the 2004 national elections amount to a Poll Tax upon the disenfranchised voters of Ohio?

Is this an impossible argument?
