Waiting for Countdown to come on, I caught the tail end of Hairball, and
Tweety and Jerry Lewis both agreed that Rudy Giuliani was what this country needs for President.

Good grief.

2. Heard that too
One good thing to think about is who would vote for him? The fundies sure wouldn't. He talks off the cuff alot and is bound to insert foot in mouth sooner rather than later.

3. Maybe we should ask Donna Hanover,
his former wife, who learned that she and her husband were getting a divorce from the media. What can you say about a guy who had so little respect for a woman he once claimed to love and the mother of his children? When that story came out, it also came out that he had an earlier girl friend, who was given a plum city job by Mr. Guilliani. Not to mantion his business partner Kerick.

7. more:
Giuliani's first marriage was to his cousin and childhood sweetheart, Regina Peruggi, to whom he was married from 1969 to 1982.

Giuliani had his first (childless) marriage annulled, supposedly because he discovered that they were second cousins instead of third cousins!

Giuliani had discovered Donna Hanover.

Giuliani married Hanover, an actress and television personality who became Donna Giuliani helped him get elected mayor and became the mother of his children, Andrew and Caroline.

Still not content, Giuliani became involved with an attractive press aide, prompting Donna Giuliani to resume the use of her maiden name.

Then Giuliani became involved with his latest wife, Judi Nathan, an increasingly public affair that prompted Ms. Hanover to appeal to the Cardinal to help preserve her marriage.

Unsuccessfully.

Ultimately, Giuliani moved out of the Mayor's residence, Gracie Mansion, and moved in with a gay male couple until his divorce from Ms. Hanover was final.

Then he promptly married Nathan, in Gracie Mansion, with his successor, Mayor Bloomberg, performing the civil ceremony.

Incidentally, Gracie Mansion was the one place that Ms. Hanover fought to keep Ms. Nathan from visiting while she and Giuliani were still married.

An appeals court ultimately upheld an order barring Ms. Nathan from Gracie Mansion in October 2001, when Hanover was still living there with Andrew and Caroline.

Friends of Giuliani said he picked the location solely for its privacy.

In the eyes of his Church, Giuliani is not married to Judi Nathan and, unless he can secure an annulment, on only God knows what grounds, he's still married to Ms. Hanover, who remarried.

12. He confirmed to NYC and his wife that he was having an affair
with Judi Nathan when he marched with Judi in the St. Patrick's Day Parade.

A man who does this shit to his wife and children in such a public way is scum.

Rudy isn't getting elected to anything, no less President.

9. would that be the same Rudy Giuliani who ordered . . .
the immediate and complete disposal of all the steel from the WTC collapse, thus destroying critical evidence on a massive scale? . . .

10. I saw that, too,
And my first thought was "Why would I care who Jerry Lewis thinks should be President?" And then Matthews agreed with him! I think Tweety is schizophrenic...he agrees with whatever his guests say. And in my opinion, Guiliani can forget it...the Religious Right will never go for him. Isn't he pro-choice?

11. Rudy can't run--he's got prostate cancer.
At least, that was his excuse when he pulled out of the race against Hillary (after he realized he was going to lose big.)

Now all of a sudden he's fit as a fiddle. Heh. Gosh, you don't suppose he actually pulled out of the senate race for some OTHER reason, do you? Like, maybe over some indiscretion with some woman who was not his wife (while he was still married)??

Heyyyy.... maybe the pukes could run Bernie Kerik as their candidate instead!

13. he withdrew from the race
because he saw he was going to get slaughtered and didn't want it spoiling his rep.

just like the 'pukes in the congress and senate do when they see they're going to lose a vote. pull the bill with no vote.

but, as with rudy, the result is the same.
