going after murtha
should really boost sagging pug numbers, no?

this is all kind of prurient. it's like watching a lousy high school teacher screaming at their kids on a field trip for hanging out at a candy machine instead of lining up for the school bus. Calling out names, pointing fingers, yelling "Kelly Schwarznegger, I want you to get over here RIGHT NOW! Amber Gingrich, you get over here RIGHT NOW! Howie Gramm, away from that candy machine THIS MINUTE!"

and everybody is watching as they yell, trying to figure out what the hell it is that the kids are doing wrong to warrant such a public and shaming response from their teacher.

and the teacher doesn't have a clue what the problem with their own behaviour is.

and the standersby just shake their heads, and think to themselves "the problem with education today is that there are too many lousy teachers."

too many lousy congressmen and women.

damn these people, all to hell.

2. Howard Dean has a suggestion...
The DNC just sent out an email with a link to this site, where you can send a letter of support to Murtha.

http://democrats.org/page/petition/shameonthem

Do it and then pass it on to your friends.

(I'm so f*ing sick of the nasty politics, I could spit tacks right now.)
