CSPAN should be HOT tonight:
Jack Murtha just gave a Press Conference. He restated his position (backed by 6 American Flags) with passionate Righteous Indignation!!!!
Go Jack!!!

The House will be voting on the Republican "Cut & Run" Bill in an attempt to embarrass Democrats. After the Passionate, FANTASTIC display of Democratic Unity last night, this should be good!!!

If you don't have Cable, you CAN watch Over-the-Net here:

Nothing happening Right Now!.
Just getting everything warmed up for later.

This is MUST SEE!

3. Great!
I'll open you in another window so I don't miss anything.

Watching the Dems act like an OPPOSITION PARTY last night made me glad I haven't actually Blown Up my TV yet!

6. Is the "cut and run" turnabout so they can lure dems into...
"so you wanted the troops out, but you voted against it? Sheesh!"

8. Hopefully, the Dems will vote "Present",
and avoid taking a position on this ambush.
The vote doesn't really matter, but the Debate should be HOT!!!!

13. After the Murtha publicity yesterday,
(he withdrew his support for the Iraq War and said we should bring the troops home over a six month period. He said we should "immediately redeploy" our troops, in effect, change the mission goal in Iraq.)

There was a political and Media UPROAR and tremendous FREE publicity for the Out Now movement. With over 60% of American voters saying we were "Lied Into the War", and almost as many say they are in favor of withdrawal, the Republicans are DESPERATE to do something to defuse the situation. The RUSHED a Bill to the Floor calling for Immediate Withdrawal (NOT redeployment).

They are trying to force the Democrats into a "They don't support the TROOPS!. They aren't Patriots" vote.

They also want to defuse this issue before the Holiday recess!

TYhe Debate is starting NOW!!!!

15. Slaughter
"The speed with which the majority has sought to challenge Murtha's statements prove what he said resonated with American people. Over 60% think Iraq is in the wrong direction. He spoke for majority. Not cowardice, not lack of resolve. Rather, they follow from logical assessment of expert.

Attacks amount to nothing more but another Swiftboat attack. They have chosen a formidable target. Unlike Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, and most people in House, Murtha knows combat. At a time when many others were skirting responsibility of going to Vietnam, he served. He visits hospitals, listens to soldiers, sees wounds."
