Please stop using anti in your promotions.
This serves no purpose other than to divide the Democratic Party. I believe if your are pro Gore as I am or pro anyone else, that should be the main focus of our debate. To say that your favorite candidate is the anti anyone within the Democratic Party candidate instantly causes division. We lose by division we win by multiplication or addition if you will. I also believe for every action there is a reaction.

If you are truly against a candidate from the Democratic Party, then debate the reasons as to why you are against that person or do not mention their name. When you just use the word anti to describe your favorite candidate against someone else in the Democratic Party you have automatic-ly given the person you are against a reason for someone to consider them. In conclusion, I believe this is reason the corpwhorate owned MSM started this anti business.

1. Good point, Uncle Joe.
Slamming a candidate or would-be candidate really doesn't convince anyone to change their mind. This forum works for me when the discussion goes beyond the slamming and discusses facts supported by links. I think that is our strength. That and we spell better overall than the freepers in freeperville. :)

4. You are from Nashville and I can see from your
sig line that you are a Gore supporter (or admirer). Do you think he will reconsider running in 2008? Or, do you think he would ever consider doing anything in politics again? I think he made a subtle but important point when he took it upon himself to lead the rescue team to NO earlier this summer and not bothering to boast about it to the media. Woke up some of us and reminded us of the character of this man.

6. Yes, I am from Nashville
and yes I believe there is a better than even chance he will run in 2008.
As a former Marine, I try not to cry but I bawled like a baby when I read of his rescue of the patients in New Orleans. I must admit having followed his career since he was a congressman that I was not surprised that he did it, but it was still such a stunning event. I have always felt that the first treason against the American People was committed by the corporate MS when they slandered and trashed his character prior to 2000.

7. He has certainly given a lot to the American people
by his years of service. For me, it was heartening to see someone do something useful for the people down there and not do it as a photo op as our 'fearful leader' did.
