Has Bush really screwed up this time?
Bush has now publically accused Dems of trying to "re-write history" over the Iraq invasion. But you can't rewrite history that has not been written in the first place. After this accusation surely now the Dems can insist on a full inquiry into how we got into this war. The last thing Bush could possibly want.

3. With this Bush accusation they can't avoid it.
All the Dems in the Senate like Kerry have to do is take Bush at his word. They can make it very embarrasing.

4. Elected Dems and the media both need to be vocal about truth testing
all of Bush's Brassiness. Bush's claims have nothing more behind them than his hot breathing amplified by a microphone.

5. bush's post Katrina
speech was supposed to give him a boost in the polls too, but it didn't. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. I don't think anyone but diehard freepers will fall for his bullshit now.
