Why doesn't Bush go to soldiers' funerals?

It would seem to be common sense to me that he would want to demonstrate - however phoney - that he "cares." - and that this, as sick as it would be, would be good "p.r."
On the other hand, is it possible that he's so evil, he would disintegrate in the presence of real grief/love/pain...Any thoughts?

2. Because that would put a human face on the death he is causing
The same reason he didn't meet with Cindy. We can't have anything disturb his sleep schedule!

4. i think he is incapable of it
to him it's probably a nuisance. he is that much of an asshole that not only does he not care. but he does not "get it". why waste his beautiful time on something like that.

5. His handlers know he might hear some plain talk -
- and * would NOT be able to handle it - he does not do well under pressure, he can't speak without KKKarl or Dickkk present, etc.

7. On a practical level, if Bush were to attend, the security issues involved
would make the situation even more burdensome on grieving loved ones. Secondly, if he went to one, he'd have to go them all - how would you pick whose funeral to attend? Thirdly, who the hell would want him there?

Having said that, it might be nice if he'd attend some sort of memorial service for all the troops killed in this war - and have it be a sincere gesture, without him trying to score "political capital" from it.
