Chickenhawk Dick "Other Priorities" Cheney to lay wreath in Arlington
Americans are celebrating Veterans Day, a national holiday honoring all men and women who have served in the U.S. military.

The main annual event marking the day takes place at Arlington National Cemetery just outside Washington. Vice President Dick Cheney will participate in a wreath laying ceremony at the cemetery's Tomb of the Unknowns.

President Bush will honor veterans at an event Friday in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania 350 kilometers north of Washington where he will also talk about the war on terror.

Veteran's Day was first celebrated in the United States in 1919 as Armistice Day, honoring those who served in the first World War.

1. My God.
This is simply a vile affront to the memory of every veteran, living or dead, who served in our Armed Forces.

This administration. I don't know what to say.

13. My thoughts exactly! It would be equivalent to
hitler laying wreaths on the unmarked mass graves of all the murdered Jews. Dastardly!

with her school, at the ceremony.

I hope she's not scared! He is truly frightening.

And in all seriousness, it's egregious that he should be at a ceremony honoring the war dead.
