Arnold for paper trail

REVENGE OF THE CYBORG VOTING MACHINE Let's hope Tuesday's vote puts Schwarzenegger in the camp of politicans -- few of them Republicans, natch -- who demand there be a paper trail for voting machines. That's not a reference to Tuesday's vote by his constituents, that's Tuesday's vote that he cast himself.

According to a piece http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-arnoldvotes9nov09,1,88793.story?coll=la-headlines-california in the Times, when Schwarzenegger showed up in Brentwood with Maria Shriver in tow to personally cast all those eventual losing votes, he was told by a poll worker that the machine was telling her he'd already voted in Pasadena.

The snafu was later traced back to election officials in Pasadena who'd cast test votes using Schwarzenegger's name.

Arnie demanded he be given a paper ballot. We woulda tossed it for hanging chads.

3. The OP subject suggests that Arnie advocates paper trails.
Asking for paper so he could vote provisionally due to the snafu is not advocating paper.

Am I missing something?
