Blood on our hands...
I believe as Americans we have blood on our hands! I see the pictures from the Jordan Hotels, and I feel America and the current * Administration is just as guilty as the bomb makers. Would this have happened if we had left Iraq alone? If invading Iraq is supposed to free the people, make them responsible for Government, and improve their quality of life, why are attacks increasing? Where are the flowers that were going to be thrown at us for over throwing Saddam?

At the same time I see the picture of Queen Rania of Jordan comforting a victim of the blast. Has Pickles EVER touched a wounded person, or held the hand of a child ravaged by a bomb blast?

After such an election high, I have hit bottom this morning, with the realization of the country that I live in and they type of heartless, mindless, and gutless people that are leading us down the path to hell.

of all of the ammo dumps in Iraq. Rummie & CO had to make sure that there was plenty of fuel to feed the 'insurgency'.

Funny, no Israelis or US got killed in these attacks yesterday?

but of course - THAT is exactly the point the bombers wanted to make - the Jordanians supported us in the war - now they are paying the price- god rest their souls -

Huge Cache of Explosives Vanished From Site in Iraq

October 25, 2004

The Iraqi interim government has warned the United States and international nuclear inspectors that nearly 380 tons of powerful conventional explosives - used to demolish buildings, make missile warheads and detonate nuclear weapons - are missing from one of Iraq's most sensitive former military installations.

The huge facility, called Al Qaqaa, was supposed to be under American military control but is now a no man's land, still picked over by looters as recently as Sunday. United Nations weapons inspectors had monitored the explosives for many years, but White House and Pentagon officials acknowledge that the explosives vanished sometime after the American-led invasion last year.

The White House said President Bush's national security adviser, Condoleezza Rice, was informed within the past month that the explosives were missing. It is unclear whether President Bush was informed. American officials have never publicly announced the disappearance, but beginning last week they answered questions about it posed by The New York Times and the CBS News program "60 Minutes."

Administration officials said Sunday that the Iraq Survey Group, the C.I.A. task force that searched for unconventional weapons, has been ordered to investigate the disappearance of the explosives.

5. I had not
realized that. I will go back and re-read the accounts! That is a fact that I need to start paying more attention to.

I was so touched by the picture of Queen Rania, that I felt compelled this morning to post my feelings.

I have also been curious as to who is really assassinating the attorneys for Saddam. And I try NOT to be a conspiracy theorist, but right now everything is suspect to me.

4. "leading us down the path to hell"
I agree with you, that's been making me sick for a while now. When you said "leading us down the path to hell", it made me think yes, because these people are war profiteers. Any war, and in fact, any type of strife, can and will be turned to a profit.

In all this, I'd have traded my sanity, all my worldly possessions and (being former military) my life to have been wrong. Learned the true meaning of regretting having only one life to give, and to me it's sadly funny I didn't really understand it until after I'd separated from the military. Back then, one life seemed like enough. I am forever the fool.

But I have to say one thing, it's like all other terrible times in that we've been privileged to see real heroes and heroines come out, stand up and take fire. Bless them every one. To them all, we know, we ALL know...you tried.
