Question..... How come Iraq has to borrow money to
repair the devastation our war brought to their country....

I just saw that Japan was now ready to loan 3.5 billion to help with Iraqi reconstruction....

I don't get it....

We go in and devastate a country, pummel it back into the stone age and then expect them to borrow money and pay use to redevelop the place...

Forgive me for saying this but.....

WHAT A FUCKING SCAM.... FDR AND TRUMAN GAVE EUROPE THE MARSHALL PLAN AND ALL THESE SECOND RATE CROOKS CAN COME UP WITH IS A LOW RENT PROTECTION SCANDAL THAT WOULD MAKE TONY SOPRANO LOOK ASKANCE AT!!!

1. What about their oil paying for it all...
wasn't that one of the many stickily lies we were told about the cost of it all?

Yep, we were all scammed.

2. I think Wolfowitz said that, but then he claimed flowery welcomes
would accompany Iraq's liberation.

4. Thinking about that
reminds me of a fiery speech on the subject by a Louisiana Dem on the House floor, he said something along the lines of "I've already told my consitituents to take the money and run!" :bounce:

5. We are being robbed and scammed.
My pockets are not being filled, but someone is benefitting, many 'someones'. And the Dems are silent, which pisses me off.
I notice there's no mention of retracting tax cuts for those that make alot of money; are they all in cahoots?
