Dems and Repubs 2 sides of same coin?
I have heard Nader say this and also heard talk that Chomsky espouses this also. That somehow both parties are flip sides of the corporate coin.

How can this be?
I research the voting records of the House and Senate. I also research the legislation put forth by each party.
In no way shape or form are the Dems the corporate whores that the Repubs are. It's not even close.

Why are these ideas put forward, that split up the Dems, by such "progressive" thinkers?
What are Nader's and Chomsky's goals?

Correct me if I am off base here.

4. They're way off base - not you
Not sure about Chomsky, but Nader apparently just wants to keep helping elect repugnicans, until we're $20,000,000,000,000 in debt and the judiciary system is so stuffed with Federalist Society true believers that it will no longer be possible to pass any progressive legislation.

All these disgusting Republican Bills barely pass with a few defections from the Democratic Side of the Aisle. Something is very wrong here. Even when we've had an edge ... how about NAFTA?!?

We must thoughtfully vote out the Democrats who repeatedly serve their Corporate Masters before the people (and Our Constitution) that they were sworn to serve.
