Poll question: Would you give Bush another chance?
What if... Bush had his Scrooge moment, and not only vowed to mend his ways, but actually took some drastic measures to prove his committment? What if he realized he's a lame duck anyway, and could spend the next 3 years trying to correct for his damnable past?

8. heh, uh... yeah?
But seriously, it's a question I asked myself recently, because he's in the best position to correct all the shit he's done, and he actually deserves to have to clean up his own mess.

Wouldn't it be delightful in a twisted effed up sort of way?

21. The only way he can correct everything now is if....
NASA announced tomorrow that a time machine has been created. He would go back to the year 2000. He would lose the election and go back to Messing with Texas.

29. He'd never do it!
It isn't just the War - everything he has done like No Child Left Behand is just the opposite of what he claims.

I don't see how someone who thinks people are poor because they are lazy would be able or willing to find out what help they need and be willing to do it. GWB is a hopeless case.

And you think this GOP Congress would go along with a "progressive" agenda? Thhe only thing I wanna hear that man say is I resign or to plead guilty. He has ZERO credibility in my book.

4. Another Chance?
I didn't vote for him the 1st or 2nd time. Him mending his ways would be to admit that he and his friends stole both elections. He and Laura would pack up and move back to Crawford, TX. It's time for him to go.

6. Here's my answer .............
Donald Rumsfeld is giving the president his daily briefing. He concludes by saying: "Yesterday, 3 Brazilian soldiers were killed."

"OH NO!" the President exclaims. "That's terrible!"

His staff sits stunned at this display of emotion, nervously watching as the President sits, head in hands.

Finally, the President looks up and asks, "How many is a brazillion?"

  :woohoo: :applause:

18. The only thing he could do...
...that would even come CLOSE to half the redemption he needs is if he were to immediately resign after firing EVERYONE on his staff, and then turn himself in to the Hague for trial by the ICC.

22. Yes, Bush should be given a chance to commit hara-kiri
Ritual suicide is the only honorable way out for Bush and I think he should be given a chance to exit this life in an honorable fashion, like a samurai that has brought disgrace to his master.

36. Wait till he starts fucking with the tax code and post this poll again...
...that's virtually the only thing on his "agenda" that hasn't gone down in flames.

He's planning on making it the centerpiece of his January 2006 SOTU address: the further shifting of tax burden from his "base" to the middle class.

Post this poll after the SOTU and we'll see if people are willing to give him a second chance...
