Republic Broadcasting radio....interesting...Nov. 25 in Canada...

I was messing around with the new Winter schedule and picked this up on Shortwave via WWRB. I first was listening to the end of the National Intel Report whose host is the guy running the network and who views the media as the enemy for letting Bush get away with Iraq, but then hung around to listen to an hour of "In the Zone" with Eric Shine.

Now, this group seems to really hate everyone (Clintons)...and also including Bush. This is where you hear the ads for water purification and other survival stuff. They are "anti-corporatist" to the max. They also do a healty dose of God programming I think.

But the "In the Zone" program was great! His guest was Richard Poe, who seems to have lived on every FAUX show possible as a guest and who was trying to push his book "Hillary's Secret War" or whatever (Hillary headed a covert group that was out to supress the internet). Poe's boss, it turns out, is David Horowtiz and he thinks the editor of NewsMax is the most brilliant guy ever. The host started right off the bat to challenge the guy. It turns out he voted for Kerry, because he was so afraid of what Bushco was doing, but he still thinks Kerry is pretty much like Bush in terms of the corporatist angle. Anyway, he has another guest on, a law prof from Canada, last name Mandel.

Mandel was part of the effort to have Bush banned from his Canadian trip last year because he was a war criminal. The courts blocked it, I guess, but on Nov. 25, the case goes back to court because some sort of
cover has been lifted. Shine talked about how people in this country were getting blocked from the courts and also brought up Sibel Edmonds case and how she was being gagged.

Well, Poe got into it with Mandel and Shine over torture. Poe said that since torture happens anyway, he just doesn't see it as a big deal if our gov. does it. The other two were all over him, for all the right reasons.

As things got going, Shine called Poe "insane" for some of his ideas.

It was really a load of fun!

You might want to check out some of the programming....the two shows I heard were so anti-Bush it was incredible! Sure, they don't like Democrats either, probably the corporatist ones, but they are very sophisticated about what Bush is doing.

And, if you need some survival gear, you can visit their store, too!!!
