Post-Feb. 3 Primary States: What will the ballot look like?
I live in WI. We're on 2/17. The state moved up the primary from April, so it would have relevance. Will it?

I'm beginning to wonder who will be left by then. For the first time since last summer, I'm wondering if my candidate (still Dean, even though I'm disappointed with his choice of new campaign managers) will even be on the ballot. (Well, he probably will be on the ballot since they're printed in advance, but will he still be in the race?)

Kerry will be there. Clark will unless he completely flames out on 2/3. Edwards should still be there. Lieberman probably won't be (and he's not an option for me in the primary anyway). DK and Sharpton are on their own timetables, so I won't speculate. But Dean? I really don't know.

I'm, again for the first time, giving serious thought to a backup candidate. (I'm leaning Edwards. Yes, I know he's not an outsider, and yes, I know he voted for IWR.)

How about the rest of you -- those of you who thought your primaries were early enough that your candidate of choice would still be on the ballot, but may not be?

(And to my fellow Dean supporters -- sorry for the downer post. I've just been disappointed and frustrated these last few weeks.)

3. Clark has a good organization here.
I don't know how the whole state feels about him, but he's got people on the ground, including some extremely dedicated people left from the Draft Clark movement.

2. I fully expect the race to be over before March 16 when Illinois votes
I will vote for Kucinich. I am hoping he gets enough delegates to go to the convention and at least raise the issue of Medicare for all, universal health care in the platform committee.
