Can Libby still plea bargain?
Can one of you lawyerly types enlighten me--at what point is the option to plea bargain and to finally tell the truth for Libby over? Once he is arraigned, as he was yesterday, can he still cut a deal? Can he do that right up to the trial?

7. Yup! He'll take his best shot at winning, and then that Aspen will
turn if need be. Bwa ha ha! Let's hope * is brought down by a scooter. Dumbass can't even ride a bicycle or segway or eat a pretzel without choking to death, so it's fitting that a scooter would be his downfall.

3. Yes
I believe that happens all the time, when juries are in deliberation and the defense is sure that a guilty verdict is coming they will cut a deal if they can.

Until the verdict is in, and he is sentenced. Note that the media is saying one of Scooter's big guns doesn't tend to make deals. Baloney. His record is pretty clear: in 50% of his big cases, he reaches a deal outside of court.

8. after $800,000 in legal fees, yes. He can at any time.
These guys he hired are super expensive. Their standard technique is to bluster, say they won't use the press, then, promptly use the press. If they see that the case was well set up against their client, they plea bargain.
