to go after ethnicity, calling folks Sambo, Tom, House N*, etc. if they are RW.

There is plenty of OTHER stuff to attack other than ethnicity with today's RW. Makes us all look bad.

unfortunately it doesn't look like the democrats will allow him the nomination. Party politics at its worst....the white Ben Cardin seems to be the presumptive nominee. Comments like those will backfire...particularly when the white establishment backs them.

Mfume actually had some traction in the beginning, then "somebody released some dirt on him"....as much as we'd like to blame the repubs....it came via the NAACP. I find Cardin, totally uninteresting...we'll see.

but that means he needs the black vote, to put it bluntly. That's why these racial slurs may hurt us. Most Marylanders are not focused on these races yet. It will heat up in the spring.
