I am sick and tired of hearing the punditocracy repeat the myth about the "successfully"
first term of Bush and what has gone wrong now. These idiots think that decisions made then are neatly tucked away in some imaginary sealed box.
Any parent knows that choices made years ago determine your current state of well being.
We are suffering now because of the neo-cons hallucinatory perceptions of how societies work (that's giving them the benefit of the doubt-I think they are a bunch of psychopaths)

Bush has not hit bottom recently-they started subterranean with African American
caging lists in Florida and Bolton led Brooks Brothers Riots at the recount and on and on.

1. They did "successfully"

keep up the facade well enough to fool the willing to be fooled majority in the first term.

The only explanation for that is 9/11 fear and shock blurred clear vision. He's made poor decisions from the very start.

2. The consequences of their failed policies have become so

catastrophic that not even the GOP spin machine can hide the truth from the people. (Well, except maybe the 19% who still think Cheney's doing a bang up job.)
