Detroit Free Press: Kerry, to Win
Democrats have one overriding concern as they choose their candidate for president this year: Can he win?

Crass as it seems, party members will have to consider electability as much as issues, subordinate their many differences, and close ranks behind a candidate who just might be able to beat President George W. Bush. That will not be easy for historically fractious Democrats, but to do otherwise is to risk being relegated even further to the noisy margins of a Republican-run land.

Michigan Democrats can contribute to the cause at their Feb. 7 caucus by voting for Massachusetts Sen. JOHN KERRY to be the party's nominee for president.

Did the right wing Detroit News endorse a candidate...They'd endorse Lieberman for sure.
