Poll question: A short poll: Do we need a GD: Alito nomination forum?
Seems like GD: Everything Else is almost 100% Alito today--wonder if this will keep up.

1. Yes. The rationale for splitting the boards last week was
I thought, not to clog a GD forum with many threads about one topic - as we have seen previously with Schiavo, DeLay, Miers, etc - as to lose track of other, just as important posts and stories.

The GD: Everything else is already full with Alito, and this before many DUers, who have been at work, and do not post from work (smart people) when the Alito was announced, have yet to come home.

2. True...and I think the nomination will be news for several weeks, so
the posting should continue.
