no religion bashing. really.
i am not a catholic but i love their religion. it is theirs. they are my friends and family.

there is an eliment of the catholic religion taking over the coolness of the catholic religion. i want the cool catholics to take their religion back

there is nifty in the baptist religion too. did you know?, i love that baptist. but, the yukky side of their religion took over. i so want the loving baptist to be able to reclaim their religion. would be healing for all of us. does not have to be bashing. it is a truth

and there is a really nasty part of muslim relgion that is doing a good job taking over. i want muslims to take back the cool in their religion

it doesnt hurt to acknowledge the dark and abusive side of the religion regardless of religion. there is healing in acknowledging it. shining lite on it.

1. Agreed....

It's incredible that people who portend to be so outraged over racism, sexism, homophobia, etc. don't seem to see the manifestations of their own narrow mindedness when not applied to their own pet issues.

2. The old-time Baptists...
as in 200+ years ago, I'd take them back any day. They were the ones worried about religion in government and wrote the letter that had Jefferson respond with his "wall of separation" assurances.
